"Having never seen 'Mad Max', I went and saw 'The Road Warrior' in 1982. Never had I escaped into a film like I did that one. I fell in love with the brute strength and sound of the Interceptor, which I later learned was a 1973 Australian Ford Falcon. Twenty odd years later, I discovered that there were people in Australia actually building and selling Interceptors. I excitedly ordered one, got it, and in a moment of stupidity, sold it. Luckily, a friend on one of the Mad Max sites told me of another Interceptor for sale. I bought the one I currently own and have been super detailing it ever since. What's more exciting, it will be seen as a DVD extra in an upcoming Mad Max re-release and is also featured in a short web film called 'Mad Max Renegade' due out this spring." - Paul M.
