Uganda Charity Project

I am working with a U.S. charity called the Zion Project (http://www.zionproject.org/), which specializes in helping former children soldiers caught up in the civil war in Uganda trying to make new lives for themselves. These innocent children are kidnapped at a young age and forced to witness/experience terrible atrocities. It is pretty horrible what they have had to endure, and now many are trying to escape and live normal lives.

I will be traveling to Uganda in the coming months to do a photo documentary on the lives of these former children soldiers of Uganda. I will be assisting to teach the kids different trade skills (for example: photography & computer use) so that they may earn for themselves and their families and make a new life for themselves.

We are always looking for corporate sponsorship/support. Anything will help. You may donate money via the website (http://www.zionproject.org/), but we are also looking for donations to use as training tools (disposable cameras, laptops, etc). Any little bit helps!

Thank you!

Douglas
