Cool! My Jeep Cherokee photo is jeep.com’s main image! Kind of a dream come true! This was part of the campaign I shot in Jackson, Wyoming a few months ago for Jeep. Never thought it would make the front page! I think the beauty of Wyoming did half the work for me on this project
This was taken with the Phase One 645DF+ IQ140 and the 75-150mm Leaf Shutter lens and natural light!
My 8112 Studios co-founder, Nicholas Cambata, have been given a free 2014 Acura MDX for a year as part of the campaign #DiscoverMDX to show off everything this all new redesigned MDX can do. You can follow our NYC adventures and see what we do with it over the year at Paragon Acura, 8112 Studios, and my instagram. Trust me, we plan on pushing our luck haha.
You see the MDX is the perfect vehicle for us as New York City residents. Our MDX has 3 rows of seats (7 seats total) that also fold down flat to load lots of gear. It’s been handling the snow and ice in and around the city, it has survived potholes, jumped curbs to bypass trucks blocking the street, escorted clients and even supermodels. It is just the right amount of space, sporty handling, and rugged capability to fill our needs as owners of a production company. I know that sounds like a sales pitch, but this is literally what we’ve been doing with this 2014 MDX and what we’ve enjoyed so far. You can see what we mean on our social media (above in the first paragraph). We will be posting photos, videos, and stories. For more info please visit http://cooperspick.com
Special thanks to Brian Benstock, Andrew Diffenderfer, Scott Rodgers, Paragon Acura, and Tier 10 Marketing for helping make this happen.
Found this nice surprise on the newsstand this past weekend. Always wanted to be in Car And Driver! Shot this in Jackson Hole, Wyoming of the new redesigned Jeep Cherokee. Love how this came out and seeing it in print!
If you are flipping through this month’s Road and Track Magazine (the one with the new Ford Mustang on the cover), you will definitely see the first of my Jeep Cherokee print ads in the wild. Well, you won’t have to go far because it’s on the inside of the front cover
If you followed my various forms of social media, you probably saw I was in Jackson Hole, Wyoming taking photos. My job was to shoot fun print and web advertorial content for Road and Track and Car and Driver Magazines over the course of a week of the new redesigned Jeep Cherokee. They gave me 2 pre-released vehicles and drivers and essentially told me to go nuts (in more or less words), and go nuts I did.
So the Cherokee may not share the rugged squared-off looks of its predecessor, but with its new platform comes better and class-leading off road capability (trust me, I pushed my luck and it handled itself well), excellent road manners, great gas mileage, and impressive technology. I was a skeptic at first, but HONESTLY for under $40k you cannot beat what this thing can offer you in a small-to-mid SUV.
I’ll make sure to share more content as they become live. Got some purty Wyoming/off-roading images that I would love to share with you!
Sean Madden, creative director from the ad agencyBrains On Fire, reached out to me earlier this year and asked if given an arsenal of stunt drivers, the newest high performance BMW’s, and a closed race course, could I create a 58 foot long composite print for BMW. My answer? “When can I start?”.
