I’m a New York City based photographer and filmmaker born and raised in the Virginia suburbs just outside of Washington D.C. Graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology in 2004 with an Advertising Photography degree. While in Rochester, I also learned how to attach a sled to a car with a tow hook when it snowed for entertainment and I worked as a volunteer firefighter (all I wanted to really do was drive the fire trucks).
I specialize in on-location shoots around the world and travel on assignment over 100k miles a year. I have a trusty Pittbull mix rescue dog named Emma and a deep love for anything with an engine.
Co-founded 8112 Studios several years back, a video production company that handles everything from pre-production to filming to all post-production. We’ve won a few awards and our work can be seen on televisions internationally and numerous websites around the world.
I was named one of Washington D.C.’s most influential people under 40 by Washington Life Magazine, and named one of D.C.’s top 25 creatives of 2010. Mom was really proud. I’ve also been profiled in a variety of photography and entertainment magazines for my lighting-style, body of work, and professionalism.
I’ve photographed in the White House, run around back stage at the Grammy Awards, hung out of helicopters, ridden on tanks, and partied on rock and roll tour busses all in the name of getting the right shot. I hope sharing some of my experiences will help you… or at least be entertaining! I will be updating this site with photography news, behind the scenes photos and videos from my photoshoots, and other stories from my world adventures. I truly thank you for visiting.
Blah, blah, blah. Let’s just get to the fun stuff.
