I was playing with my uncle’s new telescope this weekend and managed to get the above image of the moon using my iPhone 4 and holding it to the eyepiece of the scope. I couldn’t believe it came out! I tweaked the sharpness, contrast, and added a border using the iPhone Photoshop application on my iPhone.
We picked up a Canon attachment to mount a DSLR to the telescope to photograph planets and stars (hopefully). Cannot wait to try it out over the next few weeks!

That’s pretty incredible; I’m sure Apple would appreciate seeing what their ingenious product can do…
That’s pretty impressive phone photography!
Can I post this on http://teacheng.us. I write about how tech is used in the classroom. This would be useful for a piece I am writing about using cell phones in the classroom.

Cool! Nice idea. I didn’t even thought about it before.
It is an amazing photo and to think it was taken with a phone. It is incredible how technology has advanced.
