This is a continuation of this post discussing my favorite iPhone photography applications. Here are a couple more that I really like and think you should check out:
- Plastic Bullet – This application is great because it’s an easy way to give your images a distinctive aged look. You either snap a new image or select a photo already in your iPhone’s library and Plastic Bullet will give you a variety of aged-look choices ranging from washed out black and white images with borders to highly saturated color photos to faded grainy color photos that look like they were taken with a Holga camera. One thing I wish it had was an ability to make sliding adjustments to color and contrast like tiltshiftgen. Although, Plastic Bullet makes up for that shortcoming by offering seemingly infinite options of image choices.
- Quadcamera – This application is a pretty simple concept. You can essentially set your iPhone camera to take 4 to 8 photos in a row at a pre-determined interval and color saturation / desaturation level you set. See samples and demo video below. A software update on the application now allows you to turn your series of images into an animated gif if you so choose. This is a great application to play with and a good one to have, especially while messing around with friends.
