The Amazing Jay J. Armes

I just returned from an incredible trip to El Paso, Texas photographing the "World's Most Famous Private Detective" Jay J. Armes.  I am still editing images. More back-story and photos to follow soon. Many thanks to the Armes family for their warm hospitality and glowing personalities.

I originally learned of amazing Jay J. Armes from the following Youtube video:

Police Photoshoot

A couple of shots from today's photoshoot with the Howard County Police Department. It is kind of cool to have a helicopter doing whatever you radio it to do. (insert evil smiley face here). Although, I ATE a lot of gravel from the rotors blowing some serious debris. I found gravel in my ear and hair for days, but thats ok, as long as I got the shot :)

Red Rock Canyon, Las Vegas

Stock photo of Red Rock Canyon

The next time you are in or around Las Vegas, you should definitely visit Red Rock Canyon.
http://www.redrockcanyonlv.org/

It is a 13 mile road looping around an amazing red canyon that probably closely resembles the surface of Mars. It is about a 20 minute drive from the Vegas strip and perfect for a casual hike
or a convertible cruise.

Nick, Mike, and I (the 8112 Studios team) hit the park to take some stock high-definition footage and to generally mess around.

Sorry for the lack of updates this week...

A LOT has been going on the past couple of weeks that I cannot talk about quite yet.  I wish I could post about everything, but I cannot quite yet. It is all pretty exciting, though!

Off to Vegas with the 8112 Studios team for the NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) show this week followed by a weekend in LA.
